About I.D.E.A.S. training
6 Reasons to choose I.D.E.A.S.
Trainer Experience
With I.D.E.A.S., the principal trainer is the owner. David Creamer has over 28 years of print publishing experience, over 13 years of web publishing experience, and over 8 years video editing experience plus over 26 years of training experience, over 18 of which have been as an authorized trainer for I.D.E.A.S.
About The Trainer
Multi-Program Experience
Publishing is rarely a one-program discipline. At I.D.E.A.S., we show you how other programs fit into the workflow. If you are switching from one program to another, we have the experience with most major publishing software to help you make the transition as painless as possible.
Custom Classroom Materials
Most training companies work out of the Adobe Classroom in a Book series; but while these are excellent books, do you really want to pay for a trainer that simply “reads out of a book”? At I.D.E.A.S., we normally develop custom training materials gleaned from over two decades of real-world experience!
Flexibility & Reliability
Depending on the location, I.D.E.A.S. has very low, and often no, minimum student count. Your training won’t get canceled once you have registered due to a head count. And, yes, custom one-to-one consultative training is available.
Cost-Conscious, Flat-Rate On-Site Training
If you have more than 2 or 3 people who require education, you might consider having I.D.E.A.S. conduct training at your location. We cover material that is critical to your company’s needs and we proceed at the pace you prefer. Plus, we can even cover multiple programs for the same fee.
Macintosh and/or Windows Training
We are specialists in cross-platform training and font management. If you are switching from Macintosh OS 9 to OS X, from Mac to Windows, or from Windows to Mac, we can teach you the differences between operating systems. Before you switch to OS X, ask us about any major font management issues!
